Members must hold to the primary doctrines of the Christian Faith. There is much
diversity in the body of Christ and because CHEAHA does not favor one denomination
over another, our fellowship is made up of families from many different churches.
The following is CHEAHA’s statement of faith and essential beliefs that each family must
agree to.
● We believe God is the One and Only Living God; He exists in three persons:
Father, Son and Holy Spirit; the Bible is the complete, inerrant and inspired Word
of God; the Virgin birth’s absolute Deity and the sinless life of Jesus Christ; the
death, burial and resurrection of Christ to provide salvation for sinners; the
personal and bodily return of Jesus Christ to earth; the bodily resurrection of all
men (some to eternal life and some to eternal punishment).
● We believe that God has ordained the family as the foundational institution of
human society. It is composed of persons related to one another by marriage,
blood or adoption. Marriage is the uniting of one natural born man and one
natural born woman in covenant commitment for a lifetime. We do not support in
any way lifestyle choices that are contrary to the Bible, including LGBTQIA+
(Genesis 2;19-24, Leviticus 18:22, Matthew 19:4-6, Romans 1:18-27, Ephesians
5:22-23, Hebrews 13:4, Romans 5:12-21)
● We believe that children, from the moment of conception, are a blessing and
heritage from God. Parents are to demonstrate God’s pattern for marriage to their
children. They are to teach their children spiritual and moral values and to lead
them, through consistent lifestyle examples and loving discipline, to make
choices based on Biblical truth. (Psalm 139, Ephesians 6:1-4)
● We believe that all true believers have been regenerated by the Holy Spirit and
been made children of God and thereby constitute a spiritual unity of believers,
the Body of Christ, regardless of organizational affiliation. (Romans 8:9, 1
Corinthians 12:12013, 27, Galatians 3:26-28)
