About the Event

SAT Testing School Year 2020

CHEAHA organizes an opportunity each year for SAT Testing.

PLEASE NOTE:

YOU ARE responsible for ordering your own testing materials by following the link listed below.

CHEAHA will provide proctors for this testing. If you are interested in helping proctor - one or more days - please let us know as you check out! NOTE: Proctors MUST have a Bachelor degree or higher.

Each testing day, 3-5 volunteers are also needed that can help with other things such as a hall monitoring and assisting with sign in/out (no college degree required).

Additional specific instructions will be given out closer to testing time.

Here's the information you need to know about SATs:

WHEN: SAT testing will be on Monday, March 30th - Thursday, April 2nd

WHERE: Hill Crest Baptist Church 5117 Post Oak Rd, Anniston, AL 36206, USA

TIME: 8am-1pm. (Times will vary each day with 8am being the start time.)

DEADLINE to sign up and ORDER materials: March 6th at midnight.

NOTE: THERE WILL BE NO EXCEPTIONS to ordering materials after March 6th.

HOW TO ORDER TESTING MATERIALS:

Go to the BJU Press Homeschool Website - see the link below

https://www.bjupresshomeschool.com/category/homeschool-stanford-tests

Choose the correct test for your student (If your child is 3rd grade, you would choose Grade 3 Spring/Grade 4 Fall). You can choose to just do the SAT test or you can choose the combination of SAT/OLSAT.

Once you click CHECKOUT - there will be a TEST ADMINISTRATOR DIRECTORY - Choose "Jenny Pope" and then check out completely.

Jenny will get an email when you sign up and SHE will receive your testing materials. Jenny will bring those with her to Hillcrest on the day of testing so you don't need to!

WHAT TO BRING ON TESTING DAYS:

1) Book for silent reading (students must remain silent if they finish their test before the time is up - a book will give them something to do quietly).

2) Optional - Light jacket (just in case the room is cold).

If you would like more information or have questions about the SAT or volunteering to help as a proctor or hall monitor, etc. please contact Jenny Pope at CheahaSAT@gmail.com or PM her on Facebook.
